SILVIA ORCIARI’S MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO GUIDO DETTONI DELLA GRAZIA
As part of the day of remembrance in honour of Guido Dettoni della Grazia, to be held in Assisi on 12 September, Santa Maria delle Rose will host a special musical tribute conceived by Silvia Orciari, voice artist, vocal coach and creator of the Canto Integrativo® method.
A friend and collaborator of Guido, Silvia created the sound dimension of his multisensory work dedicated to the Canticle of the Creatures, giving voice to its eight panels, from Brother Sun to Sister Death.
For this occasion, she will present a sound journey composed of five vocal moments, conceived as an intimate and deeply personal tribute to the artist. The programme will weave together chants from the ancient mystical tradition in sacred languages, original compositions and previously unheard vocal expressions, culminating in the world premiere of a new sound work created especially for this day.
To preserve an atmosphere of contemplation, wonder and attentive listening, the details and titles of the individual pieces will not be revealed in advance, allowing the sonic experience itself to accompany those present inwardly throughout the commemoration.
Visiting Assisi
Those who wish are warmly invited to join us for lunch at the historic Trattoria Pallotta, one of Assisi’s landmark restaurants, which has preserved the authentic culinary tradition of Umbria since 1860. Located in Piazza del Comune, the trattoria is tucked beneath the charming “Volta Pinta”, adorned with sixteenth-century frescoes by Raffaellino del Colle.
In this place, so dear to Guido, we will gather around the table as he loved to do: enjoying good food, conversation and friendship, celebrating the joy of being together and remembering his life with the simplicity and warmth that always distinguished him.
Menu
- Antipasti
- Tagliatelle with ragù (traditional Umbrian dish)
- Dessert
- Water, house wine or beer
Price: €25 per person.

Please confirm your attendance by 1 September by writing to cooperativa@santamariadellerose.art, indicating the number of people in your reservation, any food allergies, or whether you would prefer a vegetarian version of the tagliatelle.
