Representing the City of Assisi, Councillor Donatella Casciarri, Delegate for Policies and the Enhancement of the Historic Centre, spoke about the strong bond that Guido Dettoni della Grazia left within the Assisi community and among all those who had the opportunity to discover his art and his unique sensitivity.
The large number of people who attended the ceremony was a testament to how alive this bond remains, and to the importance of preserving and enhancing the artist’s artistic and cultural legacy.
Santa Maria delle Rose, which has housed Guido Dettoni’s permanent Exhibition of Contemporary Sacred Art since 2002, must continue to be the home of the MARIA Exhibition, keeping alive the dialogue between the artist’s work, the city of Assisi, and all those who come from around the world to encounter it.
